As we age, maintaining our independence is important. Grand Haven’s Independent Living offers retirement apartments and townhouses, which facilitate independence into your retirement plan. We understand your desire to stay active and have meaningful social interactions. We offer a variety of daily activities for all of our residents to help you socialize with your neighbors and make friends in Grand Haven Retirement Community.
Looking to get out and about? Our community offers fun and exciting bus trips to explore the Eldridge IA and the Quad Cities areas. Residents in our community have enjoyed several trips to Davenport IA, Rock Island and Moline IL, as well as other surrounding areas.
Assisted Transition
Did you know that Grand Haven’s apartments can be for Independent Living or Assisted Living? Residents can move into our facility under Independent Living and if their needs change, they can remain in the same room! There would be no hassle in moving to a different unit to gain more access to services provided at Grand Haven.

We have many services and amenities from building maintenance, a security door system, beauty salon, barber services, and more available to you. Retirement Townhouses
Creating independent senior housing has been a central focus at Grand Haven Retirement. We offer 10 townhouses in our retirement community, providing you with maximum autonomy while maintaining any supports you may need. This deluxe townhome is a spacious two-bedroom, two bathroom home which features a one or two car attached garage. The home features a full kitchen, dining room, and a laundry room furnished with a washer and dryer. All appliances including dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and garbage disposal are already included in the home to make your move as comfortable as possible.
Townhouses are one level, with no steps for your safety. Walk out the sliding glass door to your own backyard patio and enjoy the fresh air! We take care of lawn care and snow removal for your convenience. Relax in your living room on a cold winter day with your gas fireplace. Each resident in our townhomes receives a state of the art emergency call system pendant for your safety and peace of mind. Help is always available when you need it. As a member of Grand Haven Retirement Community, you will have access to our beauty salon and barber services as well as all the social, recreational, religious, and educational activities offered at Grand Haven. You also get one meal a day in our grand hall and bi-weekly housekeeping services.

Senior Living Options
Many services and amenities are included in our independent living program. One meal is served daily. We also provide housekeeping and laundry services bi-weekly, scheduled transportation, and many more amenities for your convenience.
Your care is important to us, and we will provide the level of care necessary on an individualized basis. You can explore your options and find the best care plan that works for you. We do also offer assisted living or memory care programs to fit all levels of care needed.
